About this word search
Pen, Book and Bag have only three or four letters, short enough for a child who is still sounding out each one. Say the ten words out loud side by side before any searching, and have your child echo each one while tapping the matching thing on the table or in the backpack.
Each word is printed the normal way, either across a line or down a column, and none of them is reversed. A good habit is to find the first letter, then slide a finger along the row to check whether the rest follows. Chalk and Ruler are the longest words here, so leave them until the end.
Afterward, ask your child to pick one word and draw it. Glue and Paint usually end up in the same picture.
