About this word search
Space words are short and mostly familiar. Sun, Sky and Moon are things a child sees every day, and Alien adds a bit of mischief. Rocket and Planet are the longest at six letters.
Words only go across or down here, so a young child can follow every row with a finger without getting lost. Saying each word aloud before searching helps them remember what they are looking for.
On a clear evening, take the finished sheet outside and look for the Moon and a few stars together. Then ask your child which word on the list they would most like to visit.
