About this word search
Drum, Bell and Horn are words with a sound attached, and young children usually want to make that sound as soon as they find one. Let them. Clapping a beat for Drum or humming a tune for Song keeps them going until the end.
The ten words sit in plain rows and columns, read the ordinary way. Read the list aloud first, then look for the first letter of each word and follow the line with a finger. Piano and Flute are the longest, at five letters each.
If a toy instrument is nearby, play it each time a word is found. A pot and a wooden spoon make a fine drum.
