About this word search
Young children love a puzzle they can do with their whole body. Each time a word is found, point to that part: touch your Nose, wiggle a Toe, tug gently on your Hair. It turns the search into a game and helps the words stick.
The ten words are short and run only from left to right or top to bottom. Eye, Ear, Arm, Leg and Toe all have three letters, so they hide easily. Reading the list aloud first, then looking for the first letter of each word, keeps it manageable.
Afterward, trace your child's hand on a sheet of paper and write Hand inside it together.
