About this word search

Eavestrough is the Canadian word for the gutter along the edge of the roof, and Downspout is the pipe that carries the rainwater down. The puzzle also holds the Mail slot in the front door and the Linen closet upstairs.

Skylight and Bookcase each carry a K, a handy anchor, while Floorboards and Doorbell show a doubled o. Two-word entries like Light switch and Night table have no spaces. Words can run backwards and on the diagonal in this eighteen-wide grid.

After the puzzle, students can write a short description of their own home, from the front porch to the attic ladder, using at least six words from the list.
