About this word search

Some words on this list are used differently in Canada than elsewhere. A Housecoat is what many Canadians call a bathrobe, a Toque is a knitted winter hat, and Running shoes often go by runners. Learners of English may find these words useful if they are new to the country.

Start with the Q in Toque, then the Z in Zipper. Running shoes and Rubber boots appear without spaces and stretch across much of the grid. Words can run in every direction, backwards included, so check carefully around each letter.

For a language class, ask students to describe what they are wearing today using at least three words from the list.
