About this word search

Victoria Day and March break are two dates every Canadian student watches for. Victoria Day falls on the Monday before May 25 and is often called the unofficial start of summer, while March break gives schools a week off in late winter. Solstice adds a bit of astronomy, marking the longest and shortest days of the year.

The eighteen by eighteen grid allows words in all eight directions. In MILLENNIUM two pairs of twin letters follow close together, LL and then NN, which catches the eye. Midday and Midnight start the same way, so read to the end before circling.

Ask older students to put the units in order from shortest to longest, with Second first and Millennium last.
