About this word search

An adult skeleton has 206 bones, and several are named on this page, from the Skull and Collarbone to the Kneecap. Older students might split the words three ways, into bones, organs and what a mirror shows, which turns the puzzle into a quick review before a unit test.

Eighteen squares across and down, with words in all eight directions. Compound words like SHOULDERBLADE and BELLYBUTTON appear without spaces, and Eyebrow and Eyelash share their opening EYE, so make sure of the last letters before you mark one. Chin and Heel are the shortest and easiest to overlook.
