About this word search

Beetroot holds a special place in Australia as the slice of purple that goes on a burger with the lot. Bok choy reached many Australian kitchens through Chinese Australian cooking, and Samphire is a salty plant from coastal flats that chefs now use as a garnish.

Butternut squash is the longest entry and contains a Q, so start there, keeping in mind that any line may run backwards or slant. Celery and Celeriac begin with the same five letters, and Broad bean and Runner bean share an ending, so check carefully which one you have traced.

For a cooking class, students can pick three unfamiliar words and plan a dish that uses them.
