About this word search

Tongs live in nearly every Australian kitchen drawer, mostly so they can be carried out to the barbecue. Pestle and Mortar are listed separately, although they are almost always used as a pair, and they are among the oldest kitchen tools people have.

Twenty-eight words hide here, backwards and on the slant as well as straight. Food processor is the longest entry, then Measuring jug. Knead has a silent K, and Simmer and Kettle each carry a double letter, which helps you confirm a find.

In a cooking class, students can match each tool with a recipe step, or draw a kitchen floor plan with every item in its place.
