About this word search
Sun and Hat sit side by side on this list for a good reason. Slip, slop, slap is a sun safety message many Australian children learn early: slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen, slap on a hat.
All ten words run across or down. Start with Sun and Hat, the shortest, and then move to Board and Towel. Five words start with S, so after finding one, check the next letter carefully before you circle.
At the beach, point out the red and yellow flags and explain that you always swim between them, then ask your child to find Flag on the sheet.
