About this word search

Canadian Tire money has been handed out since 1958, and many households still keep a stack in a kitchen drawer. Ration book recalls the Second World War, when Canadians used coupons for sugar, butter and other goods, and Party line brings back the shared rural telephone where neighbours could listen in.

All eight directions are used on this big sheet, back to front as well. CANADIANTIREMONEY is the longest run and easy to pick out once you spot it. Pager and Grocer are short, and REELTOREEL repeats its letters, which makes it oddly hard.

In a retirement home, read each word aloud first and invite the group to say who remembers it.
