About this word search
Kick, Pass and Shoot are action words, and young players already know what each one feels like. Reading them first and then finding them gives a child that pleasant feeling of already knowing the answer.
Words in this small grid only go right or down. Cleats is the longest and starts with a C that is easy to spot, so it makes a good first find. Net and Win are short, so slow down for those two.
Use the sheet as a calm activity after a busy game, with a sticker for each word found. Then ask your child to tell you about one Pass or Kick they were proud of.
