About this word search

A Mayfly can spend a long time underwater as a young nymph, but the winged adult often lives for just a day or so. A Cicada also spends years underground before it climbs out to sing. Older students can use Pupa, Chrysalis and Metamorphosis to describe how such a change happens, and Pollinate to explain why farmers value the Honeybee.

This eighteen by eighteen grid hides words in all eight directions, backwards included. Start with the longest, Metamorphosis and Exoskeleton, then go after the rarer letters, such as the X in Thorax or the W in Earwig and Weevil. Two-word names like Compound eye and Stag beetle sit in the grid with no space between them.
