About this word search
Playing outside comes before reading for most young children, so these words often have a picture in their head already. Swing, Slide and Ball are things they use every week at the park.
Tag and Hop are three letters, good first finds. Every word goes only to the right or downwards. Swing and Slide both start with S, so look closely at the second letter.
On the way to the park, take the sheet along and tick each thing you see. Then play tag, hop about and fly a kite if there is wind.
