About this word search
A King, a Queen, a Witch and a Frog: these characters turn up in story after story, and young children often recognise them from bedtime reading.
Each word lies flat in a row or hangs straight down a column. King and Frog are four letters and good first finds. Fairy and Giant are five. Read the word aloud, put a finger on its first letter, and follow it along.
At bedtime, choose a fairy tale with as many of these characters as possible, and let your child point to each one in the pictures.
