About this word search

Descendant and Ancestors are opposites, one pointing forward in time and the other back. In-laws and Stepmom describe family that comes through marriage, a useful distinction for students working on a family history project.

All eight directions are used in this grid. Great-grandma and Photo album are written without spaces. The double D in Wedding is a quick find, and Generation shares a lot of letters with Relatives, so slow down there.

Older students can interview a grandparent and use five words from the list in a short write-up of what they learned.
