About this word search
Rug, Bed and Wall are words young children can touch while they learn them. That link between the written word and the real object helps beginning readers a lot.
Every word goes rightward or downward, so there are only two ways to check. Sofa and Room both have an O, while Door has two, which makes Door one of the easier words to recognize.
Bath and Bed both start with B. Asking your child to say both out loud and listen to the difference is a small reading exercise in itself, and a good way to end the session.
