About this word search
Stop is the word young children see most often in red on the street corner. In Quebec the same octagon usually reads Arrêt, a nice chance to mention that Canada has two official languages.
Everything in this little grid reads rightward along a line or straight down. Read the list aloud, then look for the first letter at the start of each line. Bus and Van are short and quick wins.
On your next walk, look for real Stop signs and count them together.
