About this word search
After a rain, worms often come up to the surface, and a walk outside is a good time to look for one. Worm, Snail and Bee are all on this list, along with things you might find in a backyard, like a Shed and a Hose.
Bee is the shortest word, and Snail and Grass are the longest. Each word goes only across or down, so your child can follow the rows and columns one at a time. Read each word aloud before searching.
Afterwards, plant a seed together in a small pot and talk about what it needs to grow: water, sun and time.
