About this word search
Many toys on this list have been around for generations. Marbles, Dominoes and the Spinning top kept grandparents and great-grandparents busy, while a Robot is a more recent arrival. That mix makes the puzzle good for a chat across ages about what people played with as children.
Entries here may lean diagonally or run level or vertical, and all of them read in the usual direction. The two longest entries, Skipping rope and Rocking horse, appear as single unbroken strings. Yo-yo is short and easy to miss.
Afterwards, children can sort the toys into ones you play with alone and ones you need a friend for.
