About this word search
The Teddy bear is named after Theodore Roosevelt, the American president who was known as Teddy. A cartoon about him refusing to shoot a bear inspired a toy maker to create a stuffed bear in his honour. It sits on this list next to the Rocking horse and the Spinning top.
Yo-yo loses its hyphen and becomes four letters. At twelve letters apiece, Skipping rope and Rocking horse take the most room. Slanted words are included, mirrored ones are not.
Ask older relatives which toys on the list they played with when they were young, and which ones they have never seen before.
