About this word search

In 1066 the Normans crossed the Channel, won the Battle of Hastings and brought Saxon England to an end. Much of what we know about the centuries before comes from the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, a record kept in monasteries for more than two hundred years.

Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age all end in the same three letters, which can be confusing where two of them cross. Every word reads forwards in the grid, across, down or diagonally, with the spaces left out.

Use the list as a timeline once the grid is finished. Put the Pharaoh, the Romans, the Vikings and the Tudors in order, and see who at the table gets there first.
