About this word search

Three entries on this list belong to Australian history. The First Fleet reached Sydney Cove in 1788, the start of British settlement and, for First Nations people, the beginning of colonisation on land they had cared for over tens of thousands of years. The Gold rush of the 1850s drew people from all over the world to Victoria and New South Wales, and Federation in 1901 joined the colonies into one nation.

The rest reach much further back, from the Stone Age and the Pyramid to the Romans and the Vikings. Words sit in rows, in columns or on a slant, always reading forwards, and Bronze Age and Iron Age are printed without spaces.

In a history group or an aged care lounge, put the found words in order on a timeline and talk about which period each person would most like to visit.
