About this word search
Robert Hooke looked at a thin slice of cork through his Microscope in the 1660s and saw rows of tiny chambers. He called them cells, and the word has stayed with biology ever since.
This list moves from particles to big ideas, with an Electron, a Proton and an Atom at one end and Evolution and Energy at the other. In between are the habits of the laboratory, a Hypothesis to test, an Experiment to run and a Test tube to hold it.
HYPOTHESIS and MICROSCOPE are ten letters each and good to start with. Cell, Heat and Atom are four letters and take more patience. Everything reads forwards, never backwards.
