About this word search
The pitcher's Mound sits sixty feet, six inches from home plate, a distance that has not changed since 1893. The Bullpen is where relief pitchers warm up, and the Dugout got its name because early ones were dug partly into the ground.
On the fourteen-square board, words cross on the diagonal as well as straight, but none of them runs backwards. Outfield and Infield share most of their letters, so be sure which one you have found before you circle it. HOMERUN appears as one word.
Young fans can sort the list into people, places and things. Pitcher and Umpire are people, Dugout and Bullpen are places, and Glove and Helmet are gear.
