About this word search
Chipmunks spend much of the fall stuffing their cheek pouches with seeds and nuts, which they carry back to an underground store for winter. Squirrels bury theirs one by one and dig them up later. Both animals are on this list, along with the Acorn they are often chasing.
Start with Squirrel, thanks to its Q and its doubled r. Mushroom and Umbrella also have letters that catch the eye, the double o in one and the double l in the other. No word runs backwards, though some lie on a diagonal.
After a walk through the woods, sort the twenty words into three groups: things you can hold in your hand, things you can only see or hear, and animals.
