The Lily Pond is the exception. This classic booklet is open from level 1.

From eight by eight to twenty by twenty
Within each page, the board grows level by level, reaching a milestone at the fifteenth. It then steps back for a moment, so the next page feels like a fresh start. The board becomes both bigger and more spacious, with its density dropping from around 45 to 25 per cent.

The number of words follows the board size: words = board − 2. Winding words stop at a board size of sixteen, while the honeycomb counts sides and climbs from six to nine.
