Lily Pond is the exception. This classic booklet is open from level 1.
Five leaves
From eight by eight to twenty by twenty
Within each leaf, the board grows level by level, with a milestone at the fifteenth. Then it scales back for a moment, giving the next leaf the feeling of a fresh start. The board gets both bigger and more spacious, with density dropping from about 45 to 25 percent.

The word count follows the board size: words = board − 2. Winding words stop at a board size of sixteen, while the honeycomb counts by side length and grows from six to nine.
