About this word search
Britain is known as a nation of tea drinkers, yet coffee houses were the fashionable meeting places of London in the seventeenth century. This list sits between the two, from the Cafetiere on the kitchen counter to the Teabag in the mug and the Biscuit that tends to end up dunked in either.
Brew and Cuppa are short and turn up quickly. Coffee shop and Flat white appear without their spaces, so look for COFFEESHOP and FLATWHITE as unbroken runs of letters. Every word reads forwards, across, down or on a slant.
Elevenses is a good word to save for a mid-morning break with the puzzle on the table. Once the grid is done, ask round who takes sugar, who dunks, and whether a Scone gets its jam or its cream first.
