About this word search
Australia is home to all three groups of living mammals. The Platypus and the Echidna are monotremes, which lay eggs, while the Kangaroo, the Koala and the Wombat are marsupials that carry their young in a pouch. The Dingo is a placental mammal like us, which means its pups grow inside the mother until they are born.
Every name in this grid reads forwards, across, down or diagonally. Tasmanian devil and Sugar glider appear without spaces. Quokka, with its Q and double K, is quick to spot, and Cassowary stands out with its double S.
After the puzzle, sort the twenty names into mammals, birds and reptiles, then put the mammals into their groups.
